Read Along and Paint- Kid & Parent Class! "Baby Bear Sees Blue"

AGES 6-13- (and parents/guardians if wanting to pair paint!) We will use acrylic paint to create a masterpiece based on the book "Baby Bear Sees Blue" by Ashley Wolff! Join us as we read about an inquisitive bear who discovers color for the first time! We will paint the colors baby bear finds! Mountains, grass, the blue sky, and dazzling wildflowers! Learn different art techniques such as dry brush, wet brush, blending, stippling, and fine detail! Your child will feel inspired and confident to create this work of art with our step by step instruction by our instructors - a former elementary school teacher and a former K-12 art teacher! We will pray before we begin class to let our creativity be worship to God!

***PARENT/GUARDIAN PAIR PAINTING-*** In this class you have the option to paint a matching canvas along side your child if you purchase a ticket for yourself as well! Just send us an email or message that you would like your paintings to connect to your littles canvas. The mountains in both canvas' will connect which makes a lovely work of art to hang in your house! This also makes for a fun memory with your child as you create together! We can also connect the mountains on the canvas between sibling or friend.

-How much is our creative class? $25 for a two hour paint session

-Whats included? 11x14 canvas, step by step instruction, all art materials needed to create your masterpiece.

-For our kids classes all children must be accompanied by at least one adult!

-Registration is required! Please bring your ticket confirmation from your phone or printed to confirm you are signed up for our class!

-No skill required, all levels of creativity are welcome! We can't wait to create with you!

Class time

Painting begins promptly at scheduled start time, we recommend that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the session start time to get settled. If you arrive after the session start time, please note we will not be able to assist you with catching up. This may result in an incomplete painting. We do not offer a refund or a reschedule in the event that you are late for your session.

What’s Included?

For standard public events, all participants will take home the product created such as a journal, canvas, etc. The use of our adjustable tabletop easel, brushes in various shapes and sizes, and a palette with paint colors coordinating to the painting that will be taught. Participants are welcome to request to see colors we have to customize minor details of the painting.

What should I wear?

We provide all of our guests with an apron to wear during the session. While we do have spot remover available at the studio, paint itself can be unpredictable, and is permanent once dried. We recommend that you wear something in anticipation that it may get painted on.

Please be sure to collect all personal belongings prior to leaving the studio. We are only open when we have an event taking place. Please checkout our calendar or contact us to determine the best time to pick up your belongings. B&B is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen items.

REFUNDS/ CANCELATIONS! 

Bloom & Brush has a full refund policy if you cancel 48+ hours in advance for public creative parties hosted by us for standard public creative events. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice or failure to show will be charged for the full amount of the class.

This includes reservations that were made less than 24 hours before the start of the event.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a refund or if you miss your event.

Custom Art events such as Paint Your Pet or Paint a Portrait will not receive a refund, store credit or the option to reschedule because of the individual prep work involved by us before the class.

PLEASE NOTE: IF A CLASS DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT RESERVATIONS, THE CLASS MAY BE CANCELED. OR PARTICIPANTS MAY BE MOVED INTO A CLASS THAT HAS SUFFICIENT SIGN UPS.

Bloom & Brush reserves the right to cancel any session due to unforeseen circumstances. All registered guests will be notified, via email, by 9PM the night prior to the event (when circumstances allow).
